STUDENT QUESTION
Will AI replace coders? Is coding still worth learning?
SHORT ANSWER
AI is changing coding, not ending it. AI tools write code faster, but someone still has to understand the problem, check the code and fix it when it breaks. People who can code and use AI well are the ones teams want.
Over chaiCalculators did not replace accountants. The accountant who refused to use one had a hard time.
A LITTLE MORE
A little more detail.
- What AI does wellA first draft of simple code, explaining an error, suggesting a fix. Fast, and sometimes confidently wrong.
- What still needs a personUnderstanding what the business actually wants, checking that the code is right and safe, and fixing it when it breaks.
- What to learn nowThe basics, properly, and then how to work with AI tools. That is why every course at Aksnova includes AI.
- The honest answerIf you only copy-paste, AI can do that too. If you understand what you build, AI makes you faster.
